As expected, Murakami-sensei didn't give us a new track last month (probably due to the Capybara Megamix). But she's back this month, and she's even giving us a glimpse at long lost characters! (I didn't even recognize them until I looked at the names) The track opens showing Riku having just dropped a CD (presumably this is the falling CD seen at the end of Track 73). The daycare workers wonder whether the CD belongs to Riku, or if it's something his father (meaning Eiri, since he dropped him off) left behind. One of the women notices that it's a Bad Luck CD, and then Riku says "Mama" and the women all start fangirling, realizing that the one who dropped Riku off really was Eiri (the children, meanwhile, cry in the background ^o^) We switch to another location, where a picture of Shuuichi is seen falling down. A middle-aged woman asks, "What's wrong, Maiko?" meaning, holy crap, this is the first time we've seen Shuuichi's family in a LONG time (and, of course, the fact that Murakami-sensei's art style has completely changed since they were last seen, they're pretty much unrecognizable). Maiko says that Shuuichi's picture suddenly fell down, and her mother says it means something must have happened to him. Shuuichi's parents start talking about other strange things that have been happening, like soft groaning and the sound of children's footsteps coming from Shuuichi's room in the middle of the night. Maiko starts wondering if something really did happen to Shuuichi. Over at NG, Suguru is pissed at Touma over the accident with Shuuichi, saying that this is Touma's responsibility since he allowed the filming to happen even though he expected there to be an accident. Even though Shuuichi may be a little strange, he's still human, and could be killed by getting hit on the head by rocks. This is followed by a shot that looks like Shuuichi being rescued. Then Eiri suddenly asks, "Is he dead?" Touma didn't realize he was even in the room. Eiri syas that it seems like the usually cool Touma is facing an emergency situation, almost like Shuuichi's finally been killed. Hiro grabs Eiri's shoulder, saying Shuuichi isn't dead. To be continued.... OK, so Shuuichi isn't dead. But what's happened to him? Could it be *shock* he's also gone blind? LOL, that would be too much....but knowing Murakami-sensei, it's totally possible :P Here there be scans: Page 01Page 02Page 03Page 04Page 05The zip file: track74.zipRelated links: Japanese webcomic siteEnglish webcomic siteTutorial for downloading Japanese version (outdated, but servicable) Scans of past tracks, English and JapaneseTags: gravitation, manga, new tracks

Had I known that this is what Maki had up her sleeve, I would have rung her neck rather than shaking her hand at Otakon.
"Shuichi is my favorite character!" I say HAH to this! >/
MAMA MURAKAMI, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
---- Here's a theory from a Ryu and Eiri cosplayer.----
amnesia... That's a GREAT idea, And could completely work.
Also - What does everyone think about split personality? He wakes up, and think's he's Kitazawa, Or, Also, Kitazawa's spirit move into Shuichi's body?
+++ALso, He doesn't remember Eiri at all, And now Eiri's faced with the challenged with ethier letting Shuichi go, and move on with his life, Or going that extra mile to make Shuichi love him again.
But, What about a coma? This is Eiri's theory [The cosplayer.]
What if Kitazawa wasn't ACTUALLY killed in the first place?
We all know that Tohma could be underhanded, So what if he just told Eiri that Kitazawa was dead, To help him forget and move on?
[[Okay, So maybe it didn't turn out the way Tohma planned.]]
Obviously, in this theory, Tohma went as far as to purchase Kitazawa's plot and grave. Mean while, Kitazawa would have actually gone to jail, Serving his time of child molestation, [Which, keep in mind, In America, Would be an average of eight to ten years[+?].]
Now, Considering the situation, Shuichi's out of the picture. Eiri's blind. Eiri has Kitazawa's son. I think it's perfect timing for our dear sensei to make his grand re-appearance in to Eiri's life.
Anyone agree?
[[[[Ryu's side comment.]]]] I totally go for this, and it'd be BRILLIANT.
But. From what i've heard of Maki's action at the con. She doesn't seem to bright. >__> [ Eiri - Frownie face. D: ] I have the feeling that she has no idea where she is going with this series anymore [Maybe why it's going so slow? She's fighting with what to do.]
I hate to say it.. But I'm having doubts that she will come up with anything as good as this. [ Eiri frowns even more. <_____< "I'm not smarter than Maki..."]
But, Then, She could be playing the idiot card she did at Otakon, Just to throw us all off.
I'm personally hoping she blows our mind, But we'll have to see..
I'm really disappointed with the slow, and small updates, but Eiri is still pleased that she could cram so much drama within only five pages [Which is a good argument.]
Anywho, That's us and our criques for the night. Us, Over and out.
Eiri - "..Thanks for reading."
